Our Love Story
How We Met
We met in the most unexpected of places: Samir’s house. He was Samir’s best friend, and I was the neighbor who didn’t understand she lived next door. Devin always says he knew we’d be together when Samir’s niece asked if we were getting married. I was 16 so I thought she was a little kid asking questions that made no sense.
Once I went away to college and was officially cool enough to hang out Devin expressed his interest in us being in a relationship.
Our First Date
July 25, 2015
For our first date Devin took me to my favorite restaurant (Ichiban of course), afterwards we went to Greater’s Ice Cream and spent the night walking and talking through the neighborhood of Bexley. We were inseparable. We spent every weekend together, and we talked on the phone every night.
The Proposal
July 20, 2021
On July 20, 2021, Devin proposed on a Riverboat Tour of the Mississippi River. It was the happiest day of my life.
We are so excited to get married and continue our lives together. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you.
